International Journal of Educational Studies and Policy (IJESP) focuses on teacher education, applied studies, and research methods within the scope of research and review studies in the field of educational sciences. It is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes two issues a year, around May and November, and its publication language is English.

International Journal of Educational Studies and Policy (IJESP) aims to publish original scientific research and review articles worldwide. IJESP concentrates upon the following areas within the scope of teacher education, applied studies, and research methods:

Curriculum development, curriculum evaluation, teacher education, instructional techniques, and strategies
Education policy, educational planning, education economy, educational supervision, and educational administration
Measurement and evaluation techniques, development of measurement tools
Psychological counseling and guidance

The manuscript will be placed by the authors in the "Article Template" given in the “Forms” section. Writing rules are stated below.

The language of the article is English.
The research should not exceed 9.000 words and 22 pages including titles and references.
The title should consist of at least 3 and at most 14 words.
The number of tables, figures, and graphics should not exceed 8.
The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
Keywords should be between 3 to 7 words.
In cases that editors deem necessary, there may be stretches above or below the counts.
In the content of the abstract, the aim of the research, the research model, the study group / universe-sample, data collection tool and data collection, data analyses, results, conclusion, and suggestions should be included.
The relevant information pertaining to studies derived from master's/doctoral theses or projects should be indicated on the first page.
Likewise, the relevant information pertaining to manuscripts derived from the papers presented at scientific events like congresses should be indicated on the first page.
For in-text references, the word ‘and’, for bibliography the symbol ‘&’ should be used.
The abstract should be produced using Times New Roman, it needs to be justified, single-spaced. 0nk space should be left before and after each paragraph, and both right and left indents should be 1cm each.
Texts in the journal should be written in Times New Roman character, justified, single-spaced and 6nk space should be left before and after each paragraph.
A maximum of ‘fourth-level heading’ should be used in the research. Please note that the first-level heading is the title of your article. The second-level heading is used for the main titles viz. Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and Suggestions, and References.
The affiliation of the author(s) should be written in the related part of the “Article Template”.
Tables, figures, and graphics should be prepared in accordance with Examples 1 and 2 given at the end of the "Article Template".
The title of the table should be in 12 pt, Times New Roman character, justified, single-spaced and 6nk space should be left before and after each table. Texts in the table should be 10 pt, justified.
Should there be any formulas to be included, the related image e.g., the screenshot version of the formula(s) should not be pasted directly. Instead, they should be created from the ‘equation section’ of the Word.
The main headings, namely, the sections of the article must be ordered as follows:
Abstract (Aim, Research Methods, Results)
Introduction, (Theoretical Framework)
Method (Research Model, Study Group or Cluster, Data Collection Tools, Data Collection Process, Data Analyses)
Results
Discussion-Conclusion and Suggestions/Implications
References (N.B.: Bibliography must be prepared according to the APA Referencing Style Guide 7th Edition.)


The styles in “Article Template” must be used in all of the writing and formatting rules stated above.

International Journal of Educational Studies and Policy (IJESP) follows the standard for Ethics and Publication Malpractice set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

For authors:

The applicant should write in accordance with scientific ethics and the author(s) is held responsible for all the content of their study.
The manuscript cannot be published elsewhere or must not be under consideration for publication in any other publishing agency.
Please indicate the contribution of each author in cases of multiple-authored papers as well as the conflict statement to the end of the template. Provided there exists a statement of support and acknowledgment, this can be specified at the end of the template as appropriate.
Ethics committee approval should be obtained for research that requires ethics committee approval, and this approval should be stated and documented within the article.
For reviewers:

Manuscripts are evaluated by acknowledged experts in their fields.
The manuscripts are checked meticulously according to their scientific quality, contribution to the field, and the methods and techniques used, by taking into consideration the “Reviewer Evaluation Form”.
The reported manuscript is sent to the editor by the reviewer upon the completion of reviewing processes.
Manuscripts cannot be shared with a third party or institution.
In order to become a reviewer in IJESP, the "Reviewer Application Form" in the forms section can be filled out and sent to the editor via an e-mail. After the application of the reviewer is evaluated by the editorial board, the applicant is sent an information message indicating the result.
For editors:

All manuscripts are evaluated without any distinction.
The names of the authors and the reviewers assigned to the manuscripts are kept confidential all throughout.
Manuscripts cannot be shared with a third party or institution without receiving the approval of the editor.
Manuscripts of any sort undergo the process of plagiarism check prior to their review.

All articles published in the International Journal of Educational Studies and Policy (IJESP) are free through unlimited public access as the journal adopts and sustains the acknowledgment of open access policy.
